Meet Crystel Corbin, RN, IBCLC Founder & CEO of Latch, LLC “I will praise Thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” – Psalm 139:14 Crystel Corbin, RN, IBCLC, is a registered nurse and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant serving families throughout Central Iowa. With over 20 years of nursing experience and a passion for maternal and infant health, she provides evidence-based, personalized lactation care that supports families from pregnancy through weaning. As the founder of Latch, LLC, Crystel specializes in comprehensive infant feeding assessments with a focus on oral function, airway development, gut health, maternal wellness, and long-term feeding success. Her approach combines clinical expertise with compassionate support, helping families navigate breastfeeding, bottle feeding, pumping, tongue ties, low milk supply, infant weight gain concerns, returning to work, and more. Unlike traditional lactation care models, Crystel offers high-access, relationship-based support designed to provide continuity of care during one of the most important seasons of a family’s life. She believes parents deserve timely answers, individualized care, and a trusted expert who walks alongside them every step of the journey. Before founding Latch, Crystel worked in acute care, postpartum, and OB/GYN settings, building a strong clinical foundation that continues to guide her practice today. She is known for her thorough assessments, collaborative approach, and dedication to helping families reach their feeding goals while feeling confident, supported, and empowered. When she’s not caring for families, Crystel enjoys spending time with her husband and children, serving her community, photographing families through her photography business, and educating healthcare providers on infant feeding and maternal health. Serving families throughout the US through in-home, office, and virtual lactation consultations.
